elcome to Our Parish Community

St. Anthony Parish is a welcoming Roman Catholic Community, centered on Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit and nourished by the Word and Eucharist. Called through our Baptism to be faithful and responsible stewards of the Kingdom of God, we generously share our Time, Talent and Treasure united in joyful witness to Christ's Gospel of love, life and justice.

School's Open - Opportunities to serve the Parish

With the opening of a new school year, please consider the following opportunities to serve your Parish Community.

Religious Education Teachers - Our religious ed program is always in need of people willing to share their Catholic faith with our young people. If you think you'd like to volunteer for this effort, please contact Sr. Betty Ann or Karen Monda at the Religious Ed office, 973.427.7873.

Communion Ministers - We need additional Communion Ministers to help cover the weekend Masses and bringing Eucharist to shut-ins and those that are sick. If you think you'd like to volunteer for this ministry, please contact the Rectory.

Lectors - We need additional lectors to help with the readings at Mass. If you think you'd like to serve this ministry please contact the Rectory. There will be a training meeting on September 21.

Parish Choir - The Choir can always use more voices. If you'd like to join this ministry please talk to Michael Reidel or just show up to choir practice on Thursday evenings.

Parishioners who cannot participate are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Mass on October 17/18th. There will be boxes at the doors where you can place your donations. Again, donations will be used to help stock our food pantry.

Travelers keep up with regular offerings by giving electronically

Just as you rely upon receiving income on a regular basis, St. Anthony's Church relies on your regular contributions.

St. Anthony Church appreciates the efforts of congregation members to make consistent donations throughout the year—especially during popular winter and summer travel periods.

To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up regular contributions. Please contact the church office for details at
(973) 427-1478, or use the Electronic Giving link to the left for more information. Click the 'Read More' link below for the form.
