St. Anthony's Relics Visit New Jersey

On Sunday, June 14, 2015, there will be a special Mass at 6PM in honor of St. Anthony, our patron saint. This Mass will be celebrated to welcome the relic of Saint Anthony from his shrine in Padua Italy. The relic will be accompanied by one of the Franciscan friars from Padua, Father Paolo Floretta, O.F.M.

The relic is visiting 6 parishes of the Diocese over this weekend and we are the last stop before it returns to Padua.

At the end of Mass, there will be an extended time to venerate the relic.

Corpus Christi Food Collection for the Poor - June 6-7

Last year, Bishop Serratelli authorized a special Corpus Christi Food Collection for the Poor in all the parishes of the Diocese. Each year, the parish and diocesan food pantries operated under Catholic auspices in our three counties reach a crisis during the summer months. The summer school vacation helps fuel this crisis, adding an extra load to the already burdened food pantries.

This year we've been designated a "hot cereal" parish. Please bring hot cereal, farina or oat meal to church on the Feast of Corpus Christi and deposit it in the baskets provided in the front of the church.

Part of the food collected will be kept at St. Anthony's to help stock our own food pantry, which you all so generously support.

Travelers keep up with regular offerings by giving electronically

Just as you rely upon receiving income on a regular basis, St. Anthony's Church relies on your regular contributions.

St. Anthony Church appreciates the efforts of congregation members to make consistent donations throughout the year—especially during popular winter and summer travel periods.

To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up regular contributions. Please contact the church office for details at
(973) 427-1478, or use the Electronic Giving link to the left for more information. Click the 'Read More' link below for the form.
