elcome to Our Parish Community

St. Anthony Parish is a welcoming Roman Catholic Community, centered on Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit and nourished by the Word and Eucharist. Called through our Baptism to be faithful and responsible stewards of the Kingdom of God, we generously share our Time, Talent and Treasure united in joyful witness to Christ's Gospel of love, life and justice.

The Giving Tree is here!

The annual St. Anthony's “Giving Tree” will make its appearance the first Sunday in Advent (weekend of November 28/29). Look for it to the left of the Sacred Heart shrine, and please help yourself to one or more tags. The members of the Social Serves Ministry and the people they serve thank you for your support!

Please return unwrapped gifts no later than Sunday, December 13th!

Breakfast with Santa is just around the corner!!!

Breakfast with Santa is just around the corner! Don't miss out on your opportunity to meet him this year!

This event is being held in the St. Anthony's School cafeteria on Sunday, December 13th. There are 2 seatings, 9:30am and 11:00am. It features a catered hot buffet breakfast and a visit by the jolly elf himself, Santa.

Tickets are $12 for adults and children over 10, $10 for children 10 and under/Seniors.

Tickets must be purchased in advance from the school office (no tickets are available at the door).

For more information please contact Lisa at 201.988.3838, or by email at: lisa.failla@yahoo.com.

Lessons and Carols

The annual Hawthorne ecumenical celebration of Lessons and Carols will take place at Saint Anthony’s on Sunday, December 13th at 3:30 P.M. This combination of Scripture readings, seasonal hymns, and choir pieces offers a wonderful, and meditative, opportunity to take some time out of the hectic season and actually reflect on the reason for the season.

Travelers keep up with regular offerings by giving electronically

Just as you rely upon receiving income on a regular basis, St. Anthony's Church relies on your regular contributions.

St. Anthony Church appreciates the efforts of congregation members to make consistent donations throughout the year—especially during popular winter and summer travel periods.

To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up regular contributions. Please contact the church office for details at
(973) 427-1478, or use the Electronic Giving link to the left for more information. Click the 'Read More' link below for the form.
