Holyday of Obligation Alert

Monday, December 8, is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the patronal feast of the United States of America, and a holyday of obligation in the country.

Masses at Saint Anthony’s will be at 7:00 and 9:00A.M., and at 12:00 Noon.

The Giving Tree is here!

The annual St. Anthony's “Giving Tree” will make its appearance the first Sunday in Advent (weekend of November 29/30). Look for it to the left of the Sacred Heart shrine, and please help yourself to one or more tags. The members of the Social Serves Ministry and the people they serve thank you for your support!

Please return unwrapped gifts no later than Sunday, December 14th!

Lessons and Carols

The annual Hawthorne ecumenical celebration of Lessons and Carols will take place at Saint Anthony’s on Sunday, December 14 at 3:30 P.M. This combination of Scripture readings, seasonal hymns, and choir pieces offers a wonderful, and meditative, opportunity to take some time out of the hectic season and actually reflect on the reason for the season.

Travelers keep up with regular offerings by giving electronically

Just as you rely upon receiving income on a regular basis, St. Anthony's Church relies on your regular contributions.

St. Anthony Church appreciates the efforts of congregation members to make consistent donations throughout the year—especially during popular winter and summer travel periods.

To assist you, the church provides a convenient electronic giving option for setting up regular contributions. Please contact the church office for details at
(973) 427-1478, or use the Electronic Giving link to the left for more information. Click the 'Read More' link below for the form.
